Tara was born and raised in Olathe, KS and when it was time to head off to college she ventured west to Manhattan, KS to attend Kansas State University. Michael and Tara met at K-State, but upon graduation Tara moved back to Kansas City to start her career as a District Manager for Aldi. After working for Aldi for six years and living in Kansas City, Omaha and Tulsa, Tara decided to make Dodge City home with Michael. Tara's education in journalism coupled with the business knowledge she gained from working at Aldi and the Dodge City Area Chamber of Commerce has been a tremendous asset to the Burkhart Real Estate & Auction team. Currently, Tara works full time as a Vice President of Commercial Banking at Landmark National Bank. When she is not working at Landmark, Tara can be found helping with all things Burkhart Real Estate & Auction, volunteering for the Kappa Alpha Chapter of Chi Omega House Corporation Board, reading and enjoying the latest Bravo reality shows.
